Find Joy in Everyday

#JoyHopeLive {13}

This week we had the opportunity to participate in Relay for Life. It is always fun as a family to do big events for good causes like this. We love giving back. We enjoy fundraisers for charities, especially those supporting cancer research. We celebrated the lives we’ve had the privilege of being a part of, no matter how short, as we walked the track and those who are still celebrating birthdays because of the work that organizations like American Cancer Society fund.

My week has been full of joyful moments. How have you been finding joy this week? Link up with us and let us know.

Throughout the summer I have two new series: Military Staycations and My Favorite Home School Resources. My weekly giveaways and book reviews will continue as well as the monthly installment to Women of the Bible.

This Week’s Posts:

My Favorite Home School Resources Summer Series

One of the things I love about random nationally recognized days is how I can incorporate and change up our school schedule. National doughnut day provided an excuse to get doughnuts. I’m still trying to schedule in the time to make a fresh homemade batch though. These online classes provides the tools necessary to teach us all new skills like doughnut making. Check out my review here.

Featured Post from Last Week’s LinkUp

This week the #JoyHopeLive featured post is from The Direction Diva @Jdavis55 Click To Tweet

This week our featured post is from Judy Davis, The Direction Diva. Kristen shared her post BLOGGERS, THOUGHT LEADERS & iNFLUENCERS IT’S TIME TO STEP UP! on last week’s link up. She shares 3 simple steps for all of us who have a presence on social media to do to bring unity to our communities. This is a must read for anyone who has a following online. I highly encourage you to not only read it but to really listen and apply it. Be sure to share with her ways you have taken to encourage a positive influence online and let her know you are visiting from #JoyHopeLive. To learn more about Judy Davis check out the interview I did with her awhile back regarding her business Living Thru Crisis and her book Right Side Up (which I highly encourage all Military Spouses to get a copy of). Judy has been a mentor and friend to me for some time. This post was the perfect opportunity to share what she does with all of you. She is someone every blogger and influencer needs to be following closely.

I will be featuring one link from the previous week that I felt captured the essence of finding joy in the everyday. I will also be sharing a a little bit of how I’ve been finding the joy in the past week. I hope you will join us for this midweek share of joy. Grab the button and the #JoyHopeLive. Comment on the ones you love and share at least two posts from other bloggers. Tag me on Facebook or via twitter @HopeNGriffin with your week’s #JoyHopeLive. I can’t wait to read them!
