When I received an email from Family Christian letting me know they were sending me this book in exchange for an honest review I may or may not have squealed. Okay I definitely did a little dance when I read I was going to be able to give a copy away to one of my readers as well. This book is beautiful, from the title to the cover to the promise of life on each page.
I love books. I love the smell and feel of new pages. I love the words that spill out and the memories they evoke.
I picked up this book and began to read, determined to finish all 365 entries before I told you about it. That’s how I read. I devour. But this book is different. It’s a call to action divided into 365 individual moments that require you rest in the moment.
So I read the introduction and entry one and I sat with my story, thankful for every unique piece of it and I put the book down. I picked it up again the next day and the next. One page at a time and I am no where near finished. I’m savoring these words, these recipes, these moments of quiet on my back porch before the rest of the world wakes up.
Will you join me?
In addition to sending me a copy to review Family Christian is giving away a copy to one of you. Entry details are below. If your waiting for me to reach the back cover before I tell you my opinion your going to have to wait a full year. I’m enjoying this devotional to much to devour it, and I’m sure you will too.
