Finding Joy in Everyday

#JoyHopeLive {30}

Everyone’s writing process is unique. Some swear by writing daily while others only when the inspiration hits. All I know is that when I am not writing I feel incomplete. Writing is my way to make sense of the world and to hopefully make sense to the world. Often in conversation I feel misunderstood. Writing gives me a way to clearly share my thoughts or simply process them for myself.

Is writing one of the ways you find joy in your everyday? Whether it is through writing, crafting, reading, or any other number of ways we would love for you to linkup with us this week on the #JoyHopeLive linkup.

This Week’s Featured Post

This week’s featured post is Attempting NaNoWriMo 2015 by Cole from Peace and Chaos. NaNoWriMo is quickly approaching. Cole challenges us to just write, as she will be doing, and to join her in the process. I’ve taken her challenge and added her as a writing buddy (link on her page). I would love for you to do the same and add me. Let’s encourage one another to just write this November. I’d love to hear what you plan on writing, or if you are just going for it with no plan in mind. - add me as your NaNoWriMo Buddy

Here is a recap of my week:

For the month of November different military spouses will be sharing weekly on why they are grateful for our military community. Read, Share, and Tell us your own experiences. This week Ariel from PMQ for Two shared her experience with us.

Last week I had the opportunity to review Stephanie Cameron’s book Ella Mae the Courageous Cheerleader. I highly recommend this book for elementary students. Read more of my thoughts and what my daughters thought of this book here.

There are so many ways we can pursue joy in our lives, but it has to come from the heart. Being momentarily happy and possessing an internal authentic joy in the face of difficult circumstances are two very different things. I believe it is the little moments of happiness that help shape and prepare us for the difficult life circumstances we all face. My question is what do you do in your everyday that brings you happiness and fosters a deep found joy in your life?

By linking up, you agree to the following rules:

    • At the bottom of the post, under the thumbnail links others have added, there is a little blue button that says add your link. Click on that button and follow the onscreen instructions and it will add your link to the list. Thanks! Let me know if you have any more difficulties.
