This week has been full of excitement and preparations. Next week is a big week for us. I’ve been working on our first ever Reformation Fair at Church and preparing for my book launch. If you’re in El Paso I would love for you to stop by and celebrate with my friends and family on October 20th, anytime between 4:30 and 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church. There will be books, friends, and appetizers. If you’re not local but have signed up to review a book make sure to tweet the link out and tag me @HopeNGriffin so I can share as well. I’m looking forward to hearing all of your stories and whether or not you could relate to some of my more crazy moments.
This Week’s Featured Post
This week’s featured post is Sleepless Nights from Karen Woodall’s blog Switchbacks. Difficult situations truly mold us and strengthen us. It’s difficult when we have to let our children learn those lessons but it is so important. Make sure you read her account of how her son and her both learned God’s truths in difficult times.
Here is a recap of my week:
If you don’t want to see this part just scroll on down to the linkup below… but you’re gonna miss out on learning all about the reformation and why social media matters.
Our world is shrinking and becoming more transparent then ever. When Jesus walked the earth he spoke to his disciples in a language they could understand. He met them where they were. The church needs to do the same when it comes to social media. Read More: Dear Church- Why Social Media Matters.
What exactly is a Reformation Fair and how can you learn more about the Reformers of our faith? A big thank you to Family Christian for sponsoring this post and for all the amazing food trucks that are coming out to help us celebrate. Read more: Reformation Fair
Now for what you’re really here for!

Being momentarily happy and possessing an internal authentic joy in the face of difficult circumstances are two very different things. I believe it is the little moments of happiness that help shape and prepare us for the difficult life circumstances we all face. My question is what do you do in your everyday that brings you happiness and fosters a deep found joy in your life?
