Find Joy in Everyday

I can’t believe the summer is almost over. There wasn’t nearly enough pool days or picnics. Instead our summer was filled with ER visits and lots of family healing time. My husband and I joked that our new date spot was the doctor’s waiting room. The summer may have flown by but I’m anxiously awaiting the calmness of Fall.

We are in the midst of transitioning from homeschooling to public school. While there is a bit of anxiety mixed in, overall we are very excited for this new adventure. I’m working on a fun surprise, thanks to Family Christian, to bless my kids with on day one.

I am excited to get back to these weekly linkups and reading all about how you are finding joy in the everyday. Two new bloggers have joined me in co-hosting every Wednesday. What that means for you is more shares, more interaction, and more love. If you are interested in being added as a co-host just let me know.

Life hasn’t changed much in the Griffin household. Lots of waiting rooms and prayers for my husband who is having surgery soon. I know the blog’s been a little silent but I’m still thinking of all of you and love reading your posts.

I’ve been busy on instagram, I’ve found it’s a great way to stay busy when sitting and waiting. It’s not to late to join the weekly Tuesday Coffee Chat

Instagram is an awesome community to get inspired, connect and make new friends and I have teamed up with some amazing women and created a designated space that allows us to do just that each and every Tuesday! I invite you to participate in our #TuesdayCoffeeChat! For participating we will be choosing individuals to ADD to our chat loop next week. It’s super easy and fun to participate, and all you need to do it follow the 3 steps below: 1. FOLLOW me @hopengriffin and ALL ladies in the chat. 2. POST your answer to the questions in the comments below. 3. CLICK on the photo to go to the next lady. Once you get back to my page, you have completed the chat loop. Yay! Now sit back, enjoy your coffee and stay a bit… all while meeting some super awesome ladies! QUESTION: When life gets overwhelming what do you do to recapture (or find) Joy? ANSWER: I lean on my faith and family but a good book and a quiet space help too.

The past two weeks we have been in and out of waiting rooms trying to find some answers to some health struggles (things are looking up and a plan is now in action). While it has given me ample time to read, my writing and blogging have been neglected.

Right now there is a July photography challenge going on with a new prompt every Wednesday. It’s a great way to find new people on Instagram and share your photography skills. I hope you will join us in addition to linking up your blogs here on our weekly #JoyHopeLive linkup. After you linkup be sure to come back on Friday to vote on your favorites. The top one will be featured on next week’s linkup.

The summer is flying by to quickly. I’ve barely touched my Summer Bucket List. We just wrapped up Vacation Bible School which was a big success. If you’re an organizer for your church’s VBS next year I highly recommend Elements of Trust. Our kids loved all of the science experiments and Bible lessons.
