This Week’s Featured Post
This week’s featured post is from Pili at My Sweet Things. Christmas brings out the crafter in me. The holidays are the only time of the year my domestic side shows through. Not being the expert crafter, and since I’ve been searching for the perfect tray lately, this project seemed perfect. My Sweet Things is full of fun simple projects to spruce up the house.
This Past Week on Finding Joy in Everyday
Last week we wrapped up the series Why I’m Thankful for My Military Community and I shared some of my greatest loves: Jesus, Doctor Who and Women Theologians. Jennifer Neyhart guest posted on Thanksgiving Day with The Theology of Doctor Who.
Meanwhile I guest posted for My Journey Of Faith’s Daily Devotions on Thanksgiving Day. Originally I was thinking Thankful for Manure and Mercy but went with the title The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree instead. I don’t know. I’m still slightly attached to the first title.
We are starting a new series on Marriage. Women from all different walks of life (military, civilian, ministry, SAHM and entrepreneurs) will be sharing with us. The first post is by Macy from To Travel & Beyond – Marriage: Fragile Hearts and Precious Moments.
This week’s book review was on Books That Change Lives. It’s a starting point for anyone who is looking to start or add to their library. But there was one, kind of big thing, that bugged me. Read more here.
Now for what you’re really here for!

Being momentarily happy and possessing an internal authentic joy in the face of difficult circumstances are two very different things. I believe it is the little moments of happiness that help shape and prepare us for the difficult life circumstances we all face. My question is what do you do in your everyday that brings you happiness and fosters a deep found joy in your life?
