Today is World Smile Day.
One way to find joy is to be able to make others smile. And the one person whose smile brings me joy more then any other is my husband.
He left this morning without a smile. After going through a stack of bills and discovering my iPhone had stopped working, it’s hard to plaster a smile on your face.
So I set out on the task of seeing a smile when he walked back through the door. I hate to clean, but a clean house is so relaxing, so I spent the day scrubbing floors and straightening. I then made brownies and zucchini bread. The house looked and smelled amazing by the time he got home.
I love October. It’s about family, food, and celebrations. Everyday in October is dedicated to something wonderful, it’s not just about fall or Halloween. So to add another smile to my foodie husband’s day, here is a list of the weeks and days dedicated to food. Links are to instructional videos and recipes for the day.
