Today’s linkup is up. Be sure to share with us below how you find joy in your everyday and read about how others do as well. Our world is so confusing right now. Let’s work together to bring light, love, and joy to those who read our words.
This Week’s Featured Post
This week’s featured post is from Brittany Putman, “Being Thankful Verses a Lifestyle of Thankfulness. “There is a difference in being thankful, and having a lifestyle of thankfulness. Being thankful is a feeling and our feelings change as our circumstances do. But having a lifestyle of thankfulness means that we are thankful despite our surroundings. When we have a lifestyle of thankfulness we can be thankful throughout life’s storms …” Personally, I love that we have a feast to celebrate all that we are grateful for. I’m sure I’m not alone in this. It’s a great kick in the butt to remind us all of what we have even in the midst of sorrow and struggle. It’s a feast to kick off our advent season, to lead with Thanksgiving and enter into the hope and peace of our Savior who has provided so much for us.
Here is a recap of my week:
For the month of November different military spouses will be sharing weekly on why they are grateful for our military community. Read, Share, and Tell us your own experiences. We are 4 weeks in with plenty of great stories still to read. Ariel from PMQ for Two / Jodi from Back On Land / LeAnna from Economical Excursionists / Kim from She is Fierce have all shared what they are thankful for in our military community.
If you’ve been following my blog you know by now I’m a big Cynthia Ruchti fan. I had the opportunity to review her new book An Endless Christmas and share with you a giveaway for $100 Target Giftcard and a copy of her book. Be sure to enter!
Now for what you’re really here for!

Being momentarily happy and possessing an internal authentic joy in the face of difficult circumstances are two very different things. I believe it is the little moments of happiness that help shape and prepare us for the difficult life circumstances we all face. My question is what do you do in your everyday that brings you happiness and fosters a deep found joy in your life?
