One of the joys of writing from home full-time is that there is no lack of work. Whether I’m working on an article for a client, taxiing my family to various activities, exploring our new town, or spending extra time renovating our forever home with my newly retired soldier…there is always something to do and writing for my own blog seems to get pushed to the backburner.
Right now we are in the middle of the Lenten season and I’m looking at our new life wondering how to honor my faith, pursue my writing, and balance it all together in one continuous journey toward joy.
While I haven’t been updating my site much lately, I have been writing. Here are just a few:
- A Quick Lesson on How to Study the Bible
- Is the Bible Relevant to My Life?
- How to Be Successful in Studying the Bible
- What Are the Defining Moments in Your Life?
- Fasting: Why Do People Do It?
There are more but, as a ghostwriter, I can’t claim them. If you are interested in hiring a writer take a quick look at my online portfolio here.
I’ve joined some great writing groups in my new area: Florida Writers Association and Sisters in Crime. I’m finishing up a novel now and beginning my search for an agent while also mapping out a mystery series. These groups are great motivators and resources. I’m loving the journey!
For those of you who have been on this military spouse journey with me, thank you! That part of my life influences all I write about.
