I haven’t posted in awhile but I was wanting to let all of you know about a special event I’ve been working on that is near and dear to my heart.

Help Rudy get his therapy bike!

Join us for a spaghetti dinner, stay and eat or take it to go.
T-shirts and desert will be available to purchase. All proceeds go to the purchase of Rudy’s bike.

We will be serving dinner at Sunrise Baptist Church, 4225 Volcanic Ave. The double doors around back will be open to our fellowship hall. Dinner will be served from 6-7:45. Come when you can! RSVPs are appreciated. You can call the church at 915-755-6363 or by email at sunrisebaptistep@gmail.com

A little about Rudy: Rudy is 8 years old and has Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. He recently underwent brain surgery. Rudy is in need of a therapy bike and we would like to help him raise the money still needed to purchase one.

The bike will help Rudy work on his coordination and strengthen his legs since his brain is basically split in two. It is now difficult for one side of his body to know what the other side is doing. Pedaling a bike will help a great deal with this. Our goal is to raise $1,100 towards this bike.

There will be a bake sale for those who would like desert or a little extra to take home. Various individuals and Breaking Bread are donating goodies.
Suggested donation for dinner, don’t worry we are very willing to take more $7 adults $5 kids
