This past week I’ve started a 5-Min of Faith Facebook Live. It’s both an attempt to get to know each of you better as well as to overcome my fear of being on camera. A good friend often says you do one thing a day that terrifies you, for now this is my one thing a day and it’s the first thing I’m doing! I would love for you to drop in. I’m live at 6 a.m. MST Monday through Friday in April, but you can join in anytime of the day. Share a prayer request, a favorite scripture, or an inspiring quote. And if there is something you’d like for us to talk about tell me in the comments here.
5-min of faith. Like and share your prayer requests.

The husband has been in the kitchen ALOT as he recovers, fattening us all up. Last week I shared a picture of his chicken and waffles, which were amazing. He’s gearing up to start his own food blog and I can’t wait to taste all of his creations. I’ve put a little wrinkle in his plans by going gluten-free (not by choice, I’m still grieving my bread). He rose to the challenge and made steak tacos with cilantro lime slaw (no mayo), avocado, and cotija cheese. I can’t wait to share his recipes and blog with you. Right now we are trying to decide on a name. Ideas? We’d love to hear them.
Since he’s been in the kitchen so much it’s given me more time to read and garden. This coming week I get to share with you a new book by Tracie Miles.
#FINDINGJOY LINKUP IS LIVE
What this means for you - Drop a link to a recent blog post you wrote. The linkup will go live every Friday. It can be anything that brings joy to your day. That means crafts, book reviews, bible studies, family outings… if it’s family friendly we want to hear about it.
If you participate in the link up comment on at least two other blog posts (no one likes hit & runs) and share them on the social media of your choosing using the hashtag #FindingJoy. I’ll pin the contributors on this board and share someone new I’ve discovered in my weekly newsletter. Be sure to add the linkup button below to your site.
Follow me across social media and I’ll be sure to follow you back. I can’t wait to see what everyone is doing!
Last week on #FindingJoy I discovered and shared Bella from Over the Teacups: Words of encouragement, truth, and beauty in my newsletter. Bella is a newly married Christian woman living in Sydney, Australia. Loves God, friends and family, tea, gardens, books and food. She’s part-time special ed teacher, housewife, blogger and small group leader, living to shine God’s light by his grace. Connect with her on her facebook page and let her know you enjoyed her contribution My 3 aims for housekeeping (and how they keep me motivated) at #FindingJoy last Friday.
